We are continuing to try and adapt to the circumstances of the pandemic to ensure our business survives. The safety of our customers and ourselves is more important than making money, so we still don’t feel comfortable that the size and layout of the shop is suitable for reopening.
However, almost two months after changing to a local delivery only business, we are now ready to add a collection option to our service.
You can now order your beer and cider, and to collect any time on Fridays between 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 12pm to 3pm. Collection orders need to be emailed by 10am Friday.
We will continue to deliver on Saturdays between 10am and 5pm. All orders need to be emailed before 10am on the Friday.
Minimum order is £25. Delivery fees will apply:
PL1, PL2, PL3, PL4: £2
PL5, PL6, PL7, PL9: £3
We will not charge a fee to deliver to these postcodes for orders over £50.
We want to avoid any personal contact or contact with surfaces (doorbells, etc.) if at all possible, so we will leave your order on your doorstep, or where you have asked us to leave it, and call your telephone number so you can retrieve it.
To place an order, check our beer list here http://www.vesselbeer.co.uk/recently-in , and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the title VESSEL LOCAL DELIVERY, and include the following information in the email:
- Your name
- Your address
- Telephone number
- Where you want us to leave your order
- A list of the beers you want:
- Brewery name
- Beer name
We will email you to confirm your order, and send you an invoice to pay online. Please be patient, we will get back to you. If you’ve not had a response within five days please contact us.
Stock will be allocated on a first come, first served basis – we will let you know if anything you have ordered is out of stock.
We will not be processing new orders between Friday and Monday, these will be picked up on Tuesday for our next collection or delivery schedule.
We will only be taking orders via email – please don’t phone us or use our social media channels to place an order.
If you are ordering a growler fill, please state the size you want, and whether you need to purchase a new growler, or want to swap an existing growler.
If you want to swap an existing growler, please ensure your empty growler has been thoroughly cleaned, and leave it with the lid on outside your door so we can collect it.
When packing and delivering orders, we will maintain strict hygiene routines. For collections we ask you respect the time slot and if you see anyone at the door already, please wait a safe distance away.
We will collect and hold information we require in order to administer and deliver orders. We will not use your information for any other purposes, and will delete it once things are back to normal.
Thank you for supporting us at this difficult time. As long as people want great beer and cider (and it’s safe to deliver), we’ll keep ordering from independent breweries and distributors.
