It’s nearly December, so here is some updated information about our plans for the festive season, including gift ideas.

December Opening Hours – We Are Back As A Shop

We are back as a shop from the start of December – Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 7pm.

Same Day Local Deliveries To Continue

We will continue to deliver to PL1 to PL7 & PL9 the same day, if you order by 2pm. Minimum order of £20 with delivery charges depending on postcode, free delivery over £40. Delivery times will be 7pm to 9pm Tuesday to Thursday, 6pm to 9pm Friday and 4pm to 6pm Saturday.

Special days during December

  • Thursday 24 December: Open 1pm to 7pm for those last minute beer and cider needs for Christmas. Including same day deliveries if ordered before 2pm.
  • Closed Friday 25 December to Tuesday 29 December.
  • Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 December Open 1pm to 7pm for those last minute beer and cider needs for New Years Eve. Including same day deliveries if ordered before 2pm.

Christmas Gifts

We have perfect gifts for the beer lover in your life (or for yourself – feel free to drop hints to your friends and family):

Gift boxes – 6 bottle or 6 can gift boxes. The boxes cost £1, plus the price of whatever you choose to put in them. If you are not sure what to choose, we can select a range to suit your needs.

  • Big Stout Pack £36- Six 10.5% to 11.5% Imperial Stouts.

  • Traditonal Four Pack £17. Four classic British Christmas beers.
  • Gluten Free Pack £26 – A range of six gluten free beers across a range of styles.

Gift vouchers – If you don’t know what to pick, or want to give a more lightweight gift, we have vouchers in £5 and £10 denominations.

Glassware – We have a small range of branded glassware from various breweries, and from our two beer festivals, some of which is suitable for inclusion in a gift box alongside beers from the fridges.

Merch – Vessel branded T-shirts, and Vessel Beer Festival T-shirts.
